Back from the battlefield
Creative Manifesto (Artist Statement) artist:
"It's an intuitive process. In the chaos I play with figures, change their space, stripping and retaining traces of the previous layers. I am creating some space on top of the other until, until I get a certain atmosphere and emotion that I need ... something I try to find in the history of ... built in canvas, which adds weight to the image and poetry. ... "
Westgard Christine was born May 30, 1976
She studied painting and drawing at the school first Nordfjord Folk (1995-1996 gg.), And then at the School of Painting and Drawing in Oslo (1996-1997 gg.).
In 2000, she graduated with honors bachelor College Falmouth in the UK.
The first solo exhibition was held in 2002
Today Christine lives and works in Norway ?sg?rdstrand. Actively exhibiting at home and in the UK.
I am not a supporter of the division of art, at least fine, male and female. But here we are clearly dealing with an absolutely "devochkovoy" painting ... But that's painting this, it should be noted, of excellent quality!
