Arabesque
The elusive grace of the seal
In a smile, in every expression.
Already ready to start the brush!
As a breeze - the line of movement.
Canvas shining surface
So concise,
Soft tension
Marshmallows blowing, and lightweight fabric take off.
Rhythmic swirls slip
And on the water, and in the sky,
In a streaked wave.
And that of the details of the conjugation,
And that in all geometrical order,
Which his capricious game
And the wind will help by chance,
When, fluttering, multiplies
Flowers, and birds, and a butterfly swarm.
And on the canvas, in space, unbreakable,
From the dance lines are born,
Dancing companions of spring
To the joy of the cherubim
And seraphim,
Whose choirs are from the height
Calling for prayer
The Gregorian archangel's right hand,
And fragile grace print
In a smile, in every expression,
And as a breath - a line of movement,
And the canvas glittering smooth surface,
And the same rhythm and sense of proportion
In the transparent pale nakedness of Venus.
